Saratoga Biathlon Infiltrates Peru

Infidels!
Infidels!

Members of the Saratoga Biathlon club were caught training on the infernal skitanic rollerski routes of Peru.  The Saratogaians were trying to take advantage of the spectacularly groomed roads winding about in the shadow of Mark Sanchez Mountain, and to take advantage of one Peru Nordique’s training miscue.  “We heard that Chris Rose went mountainbiking and we seized our opportunity.  We were surprised that Rose did not adhere to the Bjorn Dahlie creed: ‘skiers who do some overdistance mountain biking and expect to become NYSSRA world champions will be dissapointed’.  While he is sleeping, we’ll be training!”  Luckily, Jim Kobak intercepted the interlopers and kept them off of the most sacred climbs, like Big Hill and the Hill of Death.  “I did not want to anger the gods by allowing infidels to rollerski on those roads at any effort less than the VO2max of the beast!”
