On a brilliant winter day, the one thing that might even be better than skiing (well, at least just as good) is a beautiful winter hike in the Adirondack High Peaks.
Peru Nordic’s Harvester of Sorrow took advantage of the primo winter conditions for a quick four hour romp up and over the summits of Giant Mt and Rocky Peak Ridge.
The trail was packed solid, requiring just a little bit of crampon work on the way up.
Skies were sunny and beautiful vistas were abundant. Once Fiegl gets back from Buffalo, look for the peakbaggers to get out again this week as bomber conditions prevail.
Hike and Destroy!
