This past weekend saw members of Peru Nordic travel far and wide as they spread nordic destruction throughout the Northeast.

David Kvam finished 4th overall at the Cayuga Nordic Classic 10 km in Salmon Hills.  Mike Wynn went to the world-famous VOmax Bogburn race in Vermont and tangled with New England’s top dogs.

Ten members of Peru Nordic travelled to the exciting, but frigid, new Tupper Lake venue for the ESG qualifier there.  Janet Findlay captured the overall bronze medal in the women’s race.  Chris Rose continued his outstanding early season with at 4th overall in the men’s race, followed by Jim Kobak , Stan Hatch and Jon Santor in 5th, 6th and 7th.  Joe Korzinecki finished 9th, placing 5 Peru Nordic skiers in the top 10.  Bob Maswick finished 11th, David Hunter finished 13th with Ed Lis just behind in 14th place.   Jim Adams was 17th.

Peru Nordic heads down to the Saratoga Biathlon Club this weekend for two events.  Look for Chris Rose to continue his strong season at the Shenendehowa 10 k classic on Saturday.  And, Mike Wynn looks to defend his title at the 28 km Great Sacandaga Mini Marathon on Sunday.
