steady hand at the range clinched a victory in the Chemical Warfare Biathlon race, and assured that his name would be etched on the Tour de Ski Cup.
A tight race on the course saw four skiers enter the range at the same time and only Rose was able to nail all four shots and lay claim to the Tour de Ski victory.
On the Tour podium were Rose, Jim Kobak and Bob Maswick, who just edged out Steve Bailey for third place. Newcomer, Jon Santor, managed fourth in today’s stage, beating out Charlie Mitchell and Jayce Ashline.
Rose’s Tour victory also kept him in the Viking Helmet as the top rated VHCS skier. The VHCS continues this Tuesday at 4:30 PM with an 8 km classic race.
