Members of the Peru Nordic Masters took a day off from skis to bag a couple of more winter 46ers.
Today the challenge was Street and Nye Mountains. Jim Kobak and Jason Fiegl (10 Patch Sprint World Championships between them) were confronted with new fallen snow and a winter hiker’s biggest challenge, open water river crossings!
The pair managed to get across the swift open water of Indian Pass Brook, and they broke trail up the pair of trailess summits.
On the way down, skies parted and the intrepid climbers were tantalized with views of Algonquin and the MacIntyre Range.
